Just a reminder the all day meeting with Davy Wotton is coming up on Saturday, February 18.
Davy has fly fished in 40 counties, is a world recognized author, a fly fishing guide, a world class fly fishing instructor, fly tier and has produced several DVD’s on fly fishing and tying. The meeting will be held at the Creve Coeur Government Center at 300 North New Ballas Road between Olive and Ladue Roads.
The agenda is as follows:
9:00 A.M. Start
1. Rods/reels/lines
2. Understanding the mechanics of dead drift nymph fishing
3. Midge fishing techniques
Break for lunch at noon (1 hour on our own)
1:00 P.M. Meeting continues
4. Casting techniques
5. Wet fly fishing
Conclude around 3:30 P.M.
Davy says he will likely add more within these categories, if time permits.
We will also be having a raffle. The meeting is free to all members of the Ozark Fly Fishers and $10 for non members. Non members can join Saturday and apply the $10 to the cost of their membership. Please join us; you don’t want to miss this one. No Thursday meeting in February.
